Attention Ladies

All ladies are encouraged to attend the Georgia PRES WIC Retreat, “Faith Rooted in Love,” on October 12-13 in Athens, GA.

The cost of the retreat is $35 (which includes breakfast and a box lunch on Saturday). Lodging is NOT included in the retreat cost, and each woman is responsible for arranging her own accommodations. The Hilton Garden Inn in Athens has a special retreat room rate of $115 if reserved by September 14. To receive this rate, you MUST tell the hotel you are with the “North GA PresWIC retreat arriving on October 12.” If you need a roommate, please sign the sheet at the WIC table and watch for others looking too. Retreat brochures are also available on the WIC table. Registration deadline is September 28. Make checks payable to North GA PresWIC.

Please prayerfully consider attending this retreat. It will be a time of sweet fellowship with your sisters at Midway!

WIC TITUS 2 WOMEN'S MINISTRY:

The purpose of this program is to help women establish covenant relationships with godly older women. Groups of six to eight women meet once a month for fellowship and to study the Biblical Foundations for Womanhood series developed by the PCA Christian Education and Publications Committee.

The meeting times of the new Titus 2 groups will be:

• First Wednesday night of the month, 6:45 to 8:00, at church
• Fourth Wednesday morning of the month, 10:00 to 11:30, at the home of the leader
• Fourth Monday morning of the month, 10:00 to 11:30, at the home of the leader

WIC FLOWER CALENDAR: The new WIC flower calendar for 2006 is located on the WIC table in the Fellowship Hall lobby. Please sign up if you would like to furnish flowers sometime during the coming year. If you have questions, please contact Dana Langston 770-439-3022.

Titus 2 Discipleship Ministry

The sign-up poster for Titus 2 groups will be in the narthex after Sunday services and on the WIC table in the fellowship hall lobby. The purpose of this program is to help women establish covenant relationships with godly older women who will encourage and equip them to live for God’s glory.

Groups of six to eight women meet once a month for fellowship and to study the Biblical Foundations for Womanhood series developed by the PCA Christian Education and Publications Committee. Child care for all ages is available at no charge for the morning groups at the home of Nancy Pritchett.

Individual groups will begin meeting in Feb. If you have questions, please contact one of the committee members: Ann Kistner, Patsy Kuipers, Denise Monroe, Sandra Westerfield.

The Bible studies offered are as follows: (A nursery is available for all studies)

• Tuesday Morning Study: Meets every Tuesday from 10:00 – 12:00 in the fellowship hall.
  
• Wednesday Evening Study for the Summer: Meets every Wednesday,
  starting June 20, at the home of Kathy Jackson. Call Kathy at 770-424-0740 for directions. There is no childcare provided for this study.
  
• Ruth Circle: Meets every 3rd Tuesday morning in the Parlor. Child care is provided.
