What is WIC?

Midway Women in the Church (WIC) is not a separate organization that you must join. All women who are members of Midway Presbyterian Church form our WIC.
Northwest Georgia PresWIC, our presbytery-level women’s organization, consists of all women who are members of the churches in our presbytery. Faye Hood, a member of Midway, is the current president of the Northwest Georgia PresWIC.
Within our Presbyterian structure, we are a connectional church. Opportunities are given for women to come together on the presbytery and national levels. Participation helps women cultivate PCA relationships outside our local church and develop a greater sense of unity within our denomination.
Midway WIC encourages all women to prayerfully consider participating in a WIC ministry or activity. Our desire is to provide opportunities for you to serve and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WIC TITUS 2 WOMEN'S MINISTRY:

The purpose of this program is to help women establish covenant relationships with godly older women. Groups of six to eight women meet once a month for fellowship and to study the Biblical Foundations for Womanhood series developed by the PCA Christian Education and Publications Committee.

Midway Women's Fall Bible Studies

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Nursery provided each week for infants through 3-years
Cubby Bears ministry for 4 & 5 years olds

The weekly Tuesday Morning Bible Study will begin the study of Hebrews 11 on September 1^st. Along with the Bible, this group will study Treasures of Faith written by Chuck & Sharon Betters. They meet in the Berean S.S. classroom. The life stories of the struggling saints in Hebrews 11 will help participants track God’s presence in their own lives and discern how He uses difficult circumstances to build the faith of believers and strengthen His church. Lydia Circle meets in the conference room on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays of each month and will continue the study of the Parables. They use inductive Bible study materials written by Mary MacArthur. If there is enough interest, there will be a Thursday night group meeting at 7:00 in the conference room using the same format and materials. Contact person: Mary Katherine Keel, 678-797-6289

Monthly

Ruth Circle meets the third Tuesday of each month in the Fellowship S.S. classroom. They will be studying a book by Fran Sciacca entitled To Love with All Your Heart. This in-depth study of Scripture will re-educate participants on the subject of salvation resulting in a deeper appreciation for the process of repentance and sanctification.
